12m High Internal Access Tower for High-Level Hopper Maintenance

Scope of Works:

Erected a 6-lift internal access tower with full ladder access to reach a high-level top hopper on the rainwater pipe.

Challenges:

The scaffold had to be built within a working distribution centre without disrupting ongoing operations. Multiple fixed obstructions inside the facility required careful planning and construction. Additionally, access needed to be maintained by building over an existing fixed walkway.

Our Solution:

We built a custom 6-lift access tower that navigated around all obstructions while maintaining safe, full ladder access to the hopper. The scaffold was constructed over the fixed walkway to keep the area accessible. Foam sleeves were fitted on the base lift to provide extra protection to the facility’s infrastructure.
